Acer has announced the 14-inch laptop “Swift Air 14 (SFA14-I31)” equipped with Intel’s latest processor, “Wildcat Lake.” Sales are set to begin in the North American market this August, starting at $699 (approximately 105,000 yen). The model features a lightweight aluminum body and includes premium features such as a 120Hz display and Thunderbolt 4 ports, typically found in high-end models.

Sleek Design with Four Color Variations The

body of the Swift Air 14 is crafted from aluminum alloy, combining durability with a slim and lightweight design. With a maximum thickness of approximately 13.3 mm and a weight of about 1.25 kg, it is highly portable for a 14-inch laptop. Its dimensions are 314 × 222.7 mm, closely resembling the footprint of an A4 sheet of paper. Four color options are available: Sage Green, Frost Blue, Blossom Pink, and Lilac Purple. These vibrant tones are a departure from conventional “navy” or “silver” hues, catering to younger and more fashion-conscious users. The entry-level model comes with a Core 5-series Wildcat Lake chip, 8GB of memory, and 512GB of storage, priced starting at $699. Higher-end models offer the Core 7 350 chip and up to 16GB of LPDDR5 memory. However, the memory is soldered onto the motherboard and cannot be upgraded by the user. On the other hand, the storage is replaceable with an M.2 slot, allowing users to upgrade it themselves.
