iam8bit, a company renowned for its gaming merchandise, has announced the release of the Persona 30th Anniversary Jazz Album to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Persona series. Performed by the company’s in-house band, the Blueshift Big Band, the vinyl edition of the album is now available for pre-order and is expected to ship starting in the fourth quarter of 2026.
3 Vinyl Editions Available
The vinyl album will be available in three editions. A “Translucent Purple” version, exclusive to FYE, is priced at $40, while the “Blue Butterfly” and classic black versions, available through iam8bit and other retailers, are priced at $32. All editions feature eight carefully selected tracks from the series’ history, including fan favorites like “Heaven,” “Last Surprise,” and “Aria of the Soul,” reimagined as jazz arrangements.
Streaming Now Available
All tracks from the album can already be streamed on major platforms. The vinyl jacket art was created by award-winning illustrator Mark Borgions, who has also designed visuals for the Blueshift Big Band’s Joystick Jazz series. That series features jazz covers of music from games like The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Kingdom Hearts III.

To mark the 30th anniversary of the Persona series, Sega and Atlus have planned a variety of events throughout the year. These include popup stores at conventions and a big band concert tour across Asia (separate from iam8bit’s project).
